The House Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of various patient care departments within the hospital. This role ensures efficient workflow, adherence to policies, and high-quality support services that contribute to excellent patient care. The House Supervisor role also will be supervising staff, coordinating activities, addressing issues as they arise, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

Position Details:

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of three years current inpatient hospital experience. Critical Care experience is preferred

  • Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school

  • Preferred Education: Advanced nursing education preferred

  • License: current RN license in our state

  • Certifications: Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, EKG and NRP. NIH within 60 days of hire and annually ASLS education must be performed within 6 months of hire and a minimum of every two years

  • Other: Ability to make sound judgements and demonstrate critical thinking skills. Ability to function under very stressful situations. Demonstrates the ability to represent the organization in a positive and professional manner. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
