Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or comparable engineering or applied science degree)Â
6+ years of experience in roadway designÂ
2+ years of progressive project management experienceÂ
Arkansas Professional Engineering license (or the ability to become licensed in Arkansas within 6 months)Â
Strong technical skills in roadway and drainage designÂ
Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads DesignerÂ
Â
Preferred QualificationsÂ
Experience in working on or with the Arkansas Department of Transportation and understanding their design requirementsÂ
Traffic engineering experience, evaluation or design Â
Client communication and reporting, management of deadlines and project deliverables, project execution and quality management, agency coordination, scope and fee development along with project scheduling and tracking of activitiesÂ
