Position Summary:

 

As an Extruder Operator on the 3rd shift (12:00 am - 8:00 am) you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the extruding machines used in the manufacturing process. You will work to ensure the production of high-quality extruded products, specifically in the area of jacket insulation. The role requires operating the extruder at specified speeds, setting up the equipment, and ensuring the correct alignment of the center cable to insulation, while meeting required tolerances.

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Mechanical ability
  • Read a micrometer 
  • Load and unload pay-off reels
  • Familiarity with in-process test procedures
  • Understanding of manufacturing specifications
  • Must be able to work required overtime
