Engineering Internship at Web Industries Hartford (Dayville, CT) - SUMMER HELP

Working Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm

Purpose of the Job

The Engineering intern role is to support process and applications engineering initiatives.  This support will include testing of materials from product development / improvement trials, test method development, process improvement implementation, machine component design (CAD) and procurement, material inspection, research to support engineering projects, basic data analysis, lean event support, draft ISO9001/ ISO13485 documentation, safety compliance support.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 2 years college experience-Required

  • Personal leadership, time management, and problem-solving competencies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with all levels within and outside of the organization
  • U.S. citizenship required
