The Quality Improvement Specialist works directly with organizational leaders and multi-disciplinary teams to support quality improvement projects. The specialist will also model and teach the principles of quality improvement throughout the organization. The specialist will develop work plans or project plans for quality improvement projects. They will work collaboratively with leadership, coworkers and medical staff to develop, implement, monitor and champion processes related to quality issues.

Position Details:

This role will require cardiac knowledge and experience to support and navigate cardiac patients with multidisciplinary team approach.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, current RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensed in state of practice will be considered.

Experience: 3 years clinical experience

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
Strong written and oral communication skills, proven leadership ability, knowledge of complex hospital and healthcare systems, processes and quality/performance improvement, excellent organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Effective change agent. Attention to detail and accuracy knowledge of the Internet, evidence-based medicine, good clinical inquiry and investigational aptitude Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Strong public speaking skills and demonstrated ability in presenting to a variety of co-workers, including physicians, clinicians, administration, and support staff self-directed and able to perform independently with minimal oversight, ability to travel throughout the hospital
