Position Summary:


The Housekeeping Supervisor manages, trains, and inspects the performance of the Housekeeping Attendants ensuring that all procedures are completed to Graton Resort & Casino's standards. Responsible for planning, organizing and developing the daily operations of assigned floor(s) or area in accordance with standards and guidelines.


Essential Functions:


1. Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times.
2. Responsible for supporting the housekeeping attendant on the guest room floors, public areas, and linen.
3. Assign daily rooms "status report" for opening and closing the house.
4. Supervise status board operators to ensure all available rooms are cleaned and any discrepancies are reconciled, paying special attention to all VIP Guests and requests.
5. Responsible for lost and found process.
6. Monitor Housekeeping Attendants to ensure highest productivity levels.
7. Enhance all lines of communication among the housekeeping team.
8. Maintain strict radio control.
9. Maintain strict control of all housekeeping equipment and inventory.
10. Monitor and track all heavy cleaning projects (drapes, carpets, furniture, mattress flipping, and general cleaning).
11. Perform room inspections and evaluate the performance of Housekeeping Attendants.
12. Counsel Team Members in positive constructive manner as necessary.
13. Conduct interviews of all candidates for available positions.
14. Develop, evaluate, and recommend candidates for promotions.
15. Ensure all Team Members successfully complete training in OSHA regulations.
16. Complete Team Member evaluations as set forth and established by Company.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. Able to logically and independently plan, organize and complete work.
3. Well-developed inter-personal skills.
4. Ability to set and achieve high standards of performance.
5. Able to make progress and/or handle multiple assignments under time constraints.
6. Provide support to team and delegate job duties.
7. High School Diploma or equivalent.
8. Three (3) years management experience, thorough knowledge of Housekeeping responsibilities and functions.

Physical Requirements:

1. Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
2. Ability to climb, bend, reach, walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
3. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
