Position Summary:
The Scoops Counter Attendant is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and accurate service to guests at Graton Resort and Casino's Marketplace. This role includes taking orders, handling payments, preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the counter and guest facing areas, and ensuring compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards. The attendant must be able to work efficiently in a high-volume environment while delivering excellent guest service and supporting the overall operations of the Marketplace
 
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Prepare and serve ice cream and baked goods.
4. Greet guests promptly and courteously; assist with menu selections and answer questions about food items.
5. Take guest orders accurately and input them into the POS system.
6. Handle cash, credit, and other payment transactions following established cash-handling procedures.
7. Prepare, assemble, and serve food and beverage items according to company standards.
8. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked counter, service area, and dining area.
9. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, including proper food handling and
temperature control.
10. Restock supplies such as napkins, condiments, and utensils throughout the shift.
11. Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as directed by management.
12. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management regarding food preparation and guest needs.
13. Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly, ensuring a positive guest experience.
14. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout the shift.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. One (1) year of experience in fast food or high-volume restaurants.
3. Must be at least 18 years of age.
4. Must possess or obtain a California Food Handler Certification.
5. Ability to handle a flexible work schedule, working weekends, holidays, and all shifts.

This job has the following physical requirements:
1. Dexterity: full use of arms and hands to hold, grab, pick up objects up to 7 hours/ day 88% of shift
2. Standing: unassisted up to 7 hours/day for 88% of the shift
3. Walking: up to 7 hours/day for 88% of the shift
4. Bending: 2 hours/day for 25% of the shift
5. Twisting: 2 hours/day for 25% of the shift
6. Climbing: including ladders, less than 1 hour/day for 13% of the shift
7. Kneeling: 1 hour/day for 13% of the shift
8. Squatting: 1 hour/day for 13% of the shift
9. Lift/Carry/Pull: up to 50 lbs. up to 1 hour/day for 13% of the shift
10. Push: up to 100 lbs. using a pushcart up to 1 hour/day for 13% of the shift
11. Reaching: above the shoulders with the use of arms for 1 hour/day for 13% of the shift
 
Work Conditions:
Work is typically in an area that may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain second-hand smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. wide access. These tasks include the maintenance and care of the assigned area. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
