Position Summary:
The Values Engagement Coordinator supports the delivery of programs and events that reinforce our values, recognize valuable contributions, and create opportunities for Team Members to connect, grow, and thrive.
 
This role contributes to dynamic initiatives that evolve alongside the organization, supporting an environment where Team Members are meaningfully involved and inspired to do their best work. Primary responsibilities include supporting the Organization Development Manager across talent, people, and values-related initiatives, with opportunities to gain exposure to multi-faceted HR functions in a growing, fast-paced organization.
 
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Graton Resort & Casino standards, policies, and
procedures.
3. Collaborate with Manager to research, identify, and prioritize new engagement and Team Member recognition opportunities. Support the design and execution of programs and events that strengthen teamwork, connection, participation, organizational values alignment, and overall workforce wellbeing.
4. Coordinate and implement Team Member events and community service outreach.
5. Support the creation, development, and implementation of health and wellness programs that
inspire/encourage Team Members to adopt healthy lifestyles.
6. Contribute to company-wide communications related to values and recognition initiatives.
7. Support outreach and build relationships with local community business partners to provide services externally and internally to all Team Members.
8. Contribute to the ordering and assembly of physical materials and the development of digital assets which support people and values initiatives.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Professional-level written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with Guests, Team Members, Management, and vendors.
3. Ability to manage multiple projects with high standards and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. 
4. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Applications.
5. Time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
6. Previous experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
7. Demonstrated interpersonal skills, initiative, adaptability, enthusiasm, and creativity.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
1. One year of experience with event coordination for large groups.
2. One year of experience communicating and coordinating with external vendors.
3. Demonstrated graphic design proficiency in Canva or other comparable visual media  applications.
 
Physical Requirements:
1. Requires occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
2. Ability to sit, walk, and stand for duration of shift.
3. Ability to hear.
4. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
