Job DetailsJob Location: Rome City, IN 46784DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of position):  Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. For assigned area and products: Ability to identify part geometry to establish location surfaces and work holding needs. Follow prescribed quality procedures including identifying all dimensions established at the assembly operation insuring part conformity both dimensionally, functionally, and aesthetically. Follow prescribed safety procedures. Lead workplace organization effort including fixture numbering and locations. Fabricate and assemble Instruments through the use of TIG, Micro TIG, and Laser welders according to customer or employer specifications. QualificationsESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:  Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: Previous machining required. Experience: Previous TIG welding experience required. Ability to read blueprints. Ability to use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gage, and optical comparator with digital read out. NONESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS (not necessary but preferred): Understanding and application of GD&T.
