Job DetailsJob Location: Rome City, IN 46784Job Purpose: - The Finisher / Blast / Polish (Level 1) at PRECISION MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES is responsible for performing finishing operations on medical device components to ensure they meet precise specifications and quality standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and functionality of medical devices through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Operate finishing equipment, including blasting and polishing machines, to achieve desired surface finishes on medical device components. - Inspect components before and after finishing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. - Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of finishing equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. - Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to address any discrepancies or defects in finished products. - Document and report production data, including quantities finished and any issues encountered during the process. - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency and product quality.QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent. Required Experience: - Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred. - Familiarity with finishing, blasting, or polishing processes is advantageous. Required Skills and Abilities: - Ability to operate and maintain finishing, blasting, and polishing equipment. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. - Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting. - Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions. - Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
