Rome Health is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for its Respiratory Therapy Department, in this role you will:
- Coordinate all respiratory care activities during your shift, providing clinical education and supervisory support.
- Deliver orientation and competency assessments for new employees.
- Provide clinical support in critical areas, including cardiac arrest response and the Emergency Room.
- Participate in hiring, training, evaluation, and disciplinary actions for staff.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and quality assurance standards.
- Offer in-service education to staff and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.
- Perform all therapies and procedures as a Licensed Respiratory Therapist.
Successful candidate will have
- Associate's Degree in Applied Science Respiratory Therapy (AMA-approved).
- 5 years of critical care experience.
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Current NYS Respiratory Therapy License.
- Current BLS Certification.
- NRP Certification
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Computer literacy.
