Job DetailsJob Location: SOUTHEAST DETOX LLC - ROME, GA 30165Position Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse - PRN will play a vital role in supporting our medical providers through clinical coordination, medication management, patient care, and administrative nursing responsibilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Essential Responsibilities Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with daily clinical operations. Coordinate patient scheduling for medical and psychiatric appointments. Perform and document patient vital signs. Collect and process urine drug screens. Assist with medication ordering, medication refills, prior authorizations, and medication reconciliation. Monitor medication inventory and communicate medication-related concerns to providers. Assist patients with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Short-Term Disability (STD), and other medical paperwork. Coordinate laboratory orders and communicate results to providers when appropriate. Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record (EHR). Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and administrative personnel to ensure continuity of care. Respond to patient questions and coordinate follow-up care. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and organizational policies. Qualifications Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred. Experience in behavioral health, addiction medicine, primary care, or outpatient settings is preferred but not required. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR). Ability to work independently while functioning effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Qualifications Experience with medication management and refill requests. Familiarity with urine drug screening protocols. Knowledge of controlled substance regulations. Experience assisting with disability and FMLA paperwork.   Qualifications
