JOB SUMMARY: The Manufacturing Technician I provides full-time, hands-on support and guidance to production staff within assigned manufacturing cells. They may assist the engineering staff in developing and implementing various manufacturing processes.Â
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):
- Provide full-time, in-cell technical support, guidance, and training for manufacturing processes in support of Production Operators and Supervisors to resolve day-to-day issuesÂ
- Serve as an immediate resource to Manufacturing Process Engineers, Production Operators, and Supervisors to confirm worker compliance with established procedures and work instructionsÂ
- Verification and implementation of manufacturing procedures and work instructionsÂ
- Integrate with manufacturing and quality personnel to proactively identify situations that may negatively impact the production of quality productÂ
- Routinely circulate within assigned areas and observe productionÂ
- Monitor and verify equipment functionalityÂ
- Actively participate in equipment installation and qualificationÂ
- Be present, approachable, and encourage questions
- Relay matters of concern to appropriate engineering staffÂ
- Participate in resolving issues and proactively look for, investigate, and identify opportunities for process improvementÂ
- Follow disciplined product/process development and change control methodsÂ
- Keep team members and leaders updated on work status, issues, and other job-related items
- Assist with projects managed by EngineeringÂ
- Report to mentors and managers regularly
- Function as an effective team member through collaboration, conflict resolution, encouragement, respectful interactions with co-workers, active listening, etc.
- Works on multiple tasks and projects simultaneouslyÂ
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED; Associates degree in a technical field preferred
- Hands-on mechanical knowledge and experience
- Communicates in a clear, organized and professional manner in both written and oral form
- Able to operate virtual meeting platforms
- Must possess a high degree of energy and drive
- Electrical and/or software development knowledge a plus
- Provide own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.
The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, volunteer opportunities, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and many more.
$16.50 per hour - $26.00 per hour
($34,000 - $54,000 annually)
