Patient Access Advisor

Make a difference at the front door of patient care. As a Patient Access Advisor, you'll be one of the first people our patients meet. You'll help ensure a smooth check-in experience by accurately registering patients, verifying insurance, and supporting access to care.   

Schedule:

  • 11:00 AM. – 7:00 PM.

What You'll Do

  • Register and check in patients for scheduled and walk-in services
  • Explain forms, answer questions, and collect required signatures
  • Verify insurance coverage and document prior authorizations
  • Confirm physician orders and medical necessity per hospital policy
  • Collect co-pays and other out-of-pocket expenses
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in hospital systems

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a healthcare setting (hospital, physician office, clinic) preferred, not required
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus
  • Comfort using computers, keyboards, and office equipment
  • Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette
  • Ability to manage detailed information accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • High School Diploma or GED required
