The location in Nekoosa, (Wisconsin, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Reliability - Tank/Turbine/Boiler. This job is full-time permanent.

 

Reporting to the Maintenance and Engineering Manager, this role is responsible for promoting safety, overseeing reliability items across the mill and managing key programs including the Tank/Turbine/Boiler program. The position leads the program reliability through managing time or inspection based outages, assists with troubleshooting efforts, and managing the time based inspection programs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tanks/Turbines/Boiler programs including time based outages
  • Precision Maintenance Development
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies for steam, compressor and power generation equipment
  • Conduct equipment criticality assessments for Pulp, Power, and ETP
  • Support reliability improvements and downtime reduction initiatives
  • Promote and model safe work practices across all responsibilitiesRequired Qualifications
  • BS Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
  • Certifed maintenance reliability professional (CMRP) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of utilities, steam generators and compressed air equipment.
  • Familiar with NDT and code repair processes
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in maintenance, reliability, or utilities engineering.

 

Critical Competencies for Success:

 

  • Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles and their application to mill operations
  • Ability to analyze equipment performance data and lead root cause analysis to eliminate recurring failures
  • Demonstrated capability in developing and implementing asset strategies that improve up time and reduce lifecycle cost
  • Skilled in applying precision maintenance techniques to enhance equipment reliability
  • Strong competency in job planning and work preparation, including defining scope, identifying required parts, estimating labor, and ensuring work packages support safe, efficient execution
  • Ability to prioritize work based on risk, criticality, and operational impact. Effective communication skills to influence cross‑functional teams and drive a reliability‑centered culture
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and develop others in reliability best practices and disciplined maintenance execution
