Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Rome, GA
Schedule: Full-time & Part-time Opportunities Available
Position Overview
Birch Agency is seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support students and families across school and community settings in Rome, Georgia. We currently have multiple in-person opportunities available within elementary schools, a high school setting, and early intervention/community-based programs.
These positions offer the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting communication development, academic success, and functional life skills for children and adolescents across a variety of age groups and needs.
Current Opportunities Available
4 Elementary School Positions
Serving students in Pre-K through 5th grade
1 High School Position
Serving students in grades 912
2 Early Intervention / Community-Based Positions
Supporting children and families through Babies Cant Wait and community services
Caseload Information
Full-time caseloads: Approximately 45 students maximum (may vary slightly based on assignment)
Part-time caseloads: Approximately 2535 students maximum
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student or client goals.
Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings using evidence-based practices.
Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and team conferences as appropriate.
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records.
Support students with a range of communication needs including articulation, language, fluency, pragmatics, and social communication skills.
For community-based positions, provide family-centered support and coaching within natural environments.
Qualifications
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
Active Georgia SLP license required.
ASHA CCCs preferred (Clinical Fellows welcome to apply).
Previous pediatric, school-based, or early intervention experience preferred.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
