Material Handler – Warehouse

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, First Shift
Location: Rome, GA

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift, including squeeze/clamp attachments, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Experience with RF scanners and inventory management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift, including squeeze/clamp attachments
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the warehouse
• Transport materials to designated production and storage areas
• Use RF scanners to track and locate inventory
• Assist with inventory management and material organization
• Verify quantities and materials during receiving and shipping activities
• Maintain accurate inventory and material records
• Keep warehouse areas organized and safe
• Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines
• Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of recent sit-down forklift experience required
• Experience operating a squeeze/clamp forklift preferred
• RF scanner experience preferred
• Inventory management experience preferred
• Clean MVR required
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
