This is what you’ll do 

As a Quality Engineer – Distribution, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality and driving continuous improvement within our distribution operations. You will: 

  • Lead customer defect tracking and resolution (CDT&R) through data analysis, reporting, and daily management activities 

  • Analyze quality trends and identify opportunities for improvement across the site 

  • Conduct and support root cause analysis for critical quality issues, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive resolution 

  • Support daily visual management, KPIs, and quality system processes, including change control and risk assessments 

  • Provide on-floor support for nonconformances, product holds, and Kaizen initiatives 

  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS), including CAPA, SCAR, audits, documentation, and training 

  • Monitor quality metrics and contribute to continuous improvement projects 

 
 

This is the team you’ll be part of 

You will join the Quality Systems Department based in Romeoville, Illinois (onsite role), collaborating closely with operations, engineering, and cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of quality across distribution processes. 

 
 

We are looking for a professional with 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering, Sciences, or a related technical field 

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environments, with a focus on quality or engineering 

  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), especially ISO9001 

  • Experience with quality tools and continuous improvement methodologies 

  • Ability to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) 

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present clear and concise summaries of quality issues and results 

  • Familiarity with Agile PLM and Microsoft Office tools

  • Primarily onsite, office and distribution environment in Romeoville, IL 

  • Exposure to manufacturing conditions when supporting shop floor activities (PPE required as applicable)

The compensation range for this role is $68,000 - $84,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
