CNC Horizontal Machinist

CNC Horizontal Machinist –1st or 2nd shift

What You'll Do:

• Set up and run CNC horizontal milling machines
• Perform contour milling, drilling, boring, and tapping
• Read blueprints and hold tight tolerances
• Inspect your own work – quality matters here
• Keep machines running smoothly and efficiently

What We're Looking for:

• 7+ years of CNC vertical mill setup and operation
• Must be able to do multiple set-ups daily
• Solid blueprint reading skills
• Understanding of G & M codes
• Experience working with various materials such as steel, aluminum, cast iron and alloys
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Ability to physically lift/push/pull objects up to 40 lbs.
• Standard measuring tools required

Compensation and schedule:

• $25-30 per hour, based on experience
• First shift hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• We are open 24/7 with flexible scheduling options for second shift
• Second shift employees receive a 10% shift differential on top of base pay
• Second shift employees have the option to choose between five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week, depending on availability
