CNC Vertical Mill Machinist – 2nd shift

At WALCO Tool & Engineering, we build high precision components – and we rely on great people that take pride in quality and craftsmanship. We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing team on second shift.

What You'll Do:

Set up and run CNC Vertical Milling machines
Perform contour milling, drilling, boring, and tapping
Read blueprints and hold tight tolerances
Inspect your own work – quality matters here
Keep machines running smoothly and efficiently

What We're Looking for:

2+ years of CNC vertical mill setup and operation
Solid blueprint reading skills
Understanding of G & M codes
Experience working with various materials such as steel, aluminum, cast iron and alloys
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
Ability to physically lift/push/pull objects up to 40 lbs.
Standard measuring tools required

Compensation and schedule:

$22-30 per hour, based on experience
Second shift employees receive a 10% shift differential on top of base pay
We are open 24/7 with flexible scheduling options
Second shift employees have the option to choose between five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week, depending on availability
