Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer – Distribution is responsible for
monitoring and improving quality performance within distribution operations. This role leads defect tracking, analyzes quality trends, and drives resolution of operational quality issues while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and distribution processes.
This position is part of the Quality Systems Department located in Romeoville, Illinois, and will be on-site.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Lead customer defect tracking and resolution (CDT&R) through data reporting and daily management activities
Analyze quality metrics and identify improvement opportunities within distribution operations
Support root cause analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
Support daily visual management, KPIs, and operational quality processes
Provide on-floor support for nonconformances and product holds
Maintain and support Quality Management System (QMS) processes, including CAPA, SCAR, audits, and documentation
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, or a related technical field
3+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments
Experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001)
Experience with quality tools and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience analyzing quality data and metrics

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $68,000 - $84,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
