Adapt Integrated Health Care is looking for a Housing, Facilities and Projects Accountant to join their team! Monday-Friday

The Housing, Facilities and Projects Accountant is responsible for the accounting management of Adapt’s housing projects, both client and employee housing and projects under construction, maintains accurate accounting records for all Adapt facilities, and is the accounting liaison with the Project Management Team. 

Qualifications:

  • Five or more years’ experience in general accounting, including accounting software.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Bachelor’s preferred
  • Experience in reviewing, understanding and applying federal and state regulations
  • Governmental, property management, affordable housing or non-profit experience desired
  • CPA or MBA preferred, not required.
  • High level of experience in Excel and Word. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the financial tracking and reporting of different types of low-income/sober-living housing
  • Responsible for coordination of reporting with Adapt’s staff accountant, as well contracted accounting firm, specifically for housing projects built with Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) 
  • Responsible for the separate audit preparation of Adapt’s low-income housing division
  • Work collaboratively with Director of Housing and contracted property managers
  • Responsible for the management of revenue contracts as assigned by CFO or CEO. Including allocation of costs, invoicing payers, and generating receivables. 
  • Responsible for a ‘best product’ financial statement and annual audit of this portfolio. 
  • Work collaboratively with Project Management team on budgeting facilities projects, from remodels to new builds, review bids as necessary, 
  • Build annual budgets in this portfolio in partnership with Chief of Regional Business Operations, Facilities Management, Project Management and others
  • May assist with payroll duties or in other areas within the account/finance department as needed.
