Job DetailsJob Location: Roselle, IL 60172Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $42.70 - $58.70 HourlyJob Shift: 1st ShiftJob Category: DOT - Safety Sensitive PositionSUMMARY:  The Engine Technician III is an advanced-level mechanic responsible for performing complex engine repairs with a focus on internal components. This role requires an FAA A&P certification, a minimum of 4 years of experience, and demonstrated mechanical expertise in engine disassembly, module removal, and reinstallation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Perform advanced-level engine maintenance tasks including module removal, internal disassembly, and reassembly. Troubleshoot and repair engine issues in accordance with AMM, ESM, and OEM procedures. Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks within schedule and quality expectations. Maintain documentation and records for all work performed per regulatory and company standards. Safely use tools, equipment, and machinery in compliance with safety protocols. Collaborate with inspectors and supervisors to ensure engine serviceability and airworthiness. Assist with mentoring junior technicians and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum of 4 years of relevant engine maintenance experience. Strong technical knowledge of engine systems and internal components. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings. Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Strong work ethic, communication skills, and teamwork orientation. LANGUGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid FAA Powerplant Certification.
