Position Summary:
The Laser Operator I is responsible for assisting in the setup and operation of Trumpf sheet lasers and/or punch turrets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This entry-level role focuses on developing technical skills while supporting production efficiency, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with machine set-up, part nesting, and operation of laser and/or turret equipment.
- Load raw materials and assist in unloading finished parts.
- Inspect parts for quality and accuracy, reporting issues to supervisors.
- Make basic corrections and notations on work routers as instructed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and standard operating practices.
- Support team members and production goals as needed.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication preferred.

- Good verbal and written communication skills.
