Their responsibilities typically include: Monitoring, Surveillance, and Risk Assessment Evaluate and take measures to mitigate risks to cargo security, such as theft, tampering, or loss. Oversee cargo loading, unloading, and transit to ensure compliance with security standards. Use technology and systems to monitor cargo movements. Identify and respond to suspicious activities or breaches. Follow all security protocols tailored to the client’s needs and the environment. Incident Management and Regulatory Compliance Ensure adherence to industry regulations (e.g., TSA, Customs, and Border Protection standards). Maintain records of incidents, audits, and compliance measures. Respond to security incidents, such as theft, vandalism, or loss of cargo. Leverage training and experience to effectively manage and address all situations encountered during duty. Collaboration and Coordination Provide timely updates on movements, potential or actual risks, and incidents to the GEG Special Operations Command Center and client partner as needed. Work with logistics teams, customs officials, and transport companies to ensure secure operations. Liaise with regulatory agencies to stay updated on security guidelines and threats. QualificationsQualifications: Ability to obtain an airport badge with customs seal: DHS requires a 10-year verifiable background check, including criminal, employment history. Also, must be able to pass a security threat assessment as administered by the TSA Must be at least 21 years old Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record Must have a valid State Security License
