This is a remote position. The ideal candidate should be prepared to travel up to 50% of the time

Position Responsibilities:

Develop, track, and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories
Analyze specific product lines, product assortment, sourcing options, profitability and market trends to identify the cost savings and profitability
Manage supplier relationships and resolve any supply issues for products procured from global and domestic locations.
Assist Category Management Team with key vendor activities and functions. Conduct business reviews with vendors for various categories and operating divisions.
Negotiate supply agreements to secure the highest quality goods and the right value based on market changes, supply chain movement, and various product offerings.
Develop and communicate changes and updates to the Supplier Agreement to different entities involved with Category Management
The ability to travel is up to 50% as required based on job requirements and customer support needs
Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience: 

Bachelor’s Degree with 6 plus years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) with 9 plus years of specific experience
