As the Senior Director, Corporate Security, you will lead the development and execution of a global corporate security program that protects Regal Rexnord’s people, facilities, assets, and reputation while enabling organizational resilience, business continuity, and enterprise risk management across a global industrial manufacturing footprint. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS), EHS & Corporate Security, with dotted-line accountability to the Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary, and leading a team of three direct reports, this role serves as the company’s corporate security function leader. The position has primary responsibility for security strategy and operations across North America, including Regal Rexnord’s 16 manufacturing sites in Mexico, while supporting the company’s broader global operations. Key areas of responsibility include security strategy and governance, threat intelligence, executive protection and duty of care, travel and event security, geopolitical risk preparedness, site security assessments, asset protection, crisis management, and incident response, in close partnership with Legal, Human Resources, EHS, IT Security, Real Estate, Enterprise Risk Management, and business leadership across the enterprise. This position is based at Regal Rexnord’s corporate offices in Rosemont, Illinois, and operates under a hybrid work schedule.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

Security Strategy & Governance

  • Partner with Legal, Human Resources, EHS, IT Security, Real Estate, Enterprise Risk Management, and senior leaders to align security strategy with business needs and risk priorities.

  • Monitor operational, policy, and external changes that may affect security risk exposure, and develop practical solutions as business conditions evolve.

  • Drive innovation across security management, threat intelligence, response capabilities, and operational efficiency.

Threat Intelligence, Risk & Resilience

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage enterprise-wide corporate security risk exposures, including appropriate risk retention and mitigation approaches with site leaders and senior management.

  • Lead threat intelligence, horizon scanning, and global risk monitoring; provide periodic updates to senior leadership on geopolitical risk, business continuity, and organizational resilience.

  • Develop preventative programs to protect against workplace violence, criminal financial loss, counterfeiting, sabotage, insider and external threats, illegal acts, and property or environmental crimes.

Executive Protection & Duty of Care

  • Lead and expand the executive protection program, including physical security, protective intelligence, threat management, secure travel, advance work, transportation, and support for senior executives and Board members.

  • Direct security planning and execution for high-profile events, including investor events, shareholder meetings, leadership summits, and site visits.

  • Establish and lead a Duty of Care and travel risk management program for associates, with focus on business travelers, expatriates, and employees in high-risk or remote locations.

  • Implement travel risk protocols, including pre-travel briefings, traveler tracking, destination intelligence, journey management, and emergency assistance.

  • Manage travel security, medical assistance, and emergency evacuation providers to ensure rapid support for associates affected by security, medical, or natural-disaster events.

  • Partner with Human Resources, EHS, Legal, Real Estate and Enterprise Risk Management to ensure Duty of Care obligations are met and applied consistently across regions.

Crisis Management & Incident Response

  • Serve as a key member of the enterprise crisis management response team, helping develop and maintain a unified crisis response and preparedness framework.

  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with CTPAT, supply chain, transportation, and cargo security requirements.

Partnership with Risk Management & Business Enablement

  • Partner with the Senior Director, Global Risk and Property Management to align corporate security with enterprise risk, insurance, claims, and property protection programs, ensuring physical security exposures are identified, mitigated, transferred, or insured as appropriate.

  • Coordinate site security assessments with property protection engineering and loss prevention reviews to advance resolution of outstanding recommendations.

  • Contribute security risk input to the annual enterprise risk management process, supporting material risk aggregation, response planning, and risk rating.

  • Collaborate with Legal, Risk Management, EHS, Real Estate, and Human Resources on business continuity planning and workplace safety initiatives to reduce incident frequency and severity.

  • Serve as a primary security contact for site leaders, HR/EHS leaders, procurement, external transportation and security providers, and business leaders needing support on security issues, liabilities, or questions.
