What You’ll Do:


The Senior Electronic Services Specialist is a key member of the wire team that has primary responsibility to research and resolve complex issues impacting our processing and our clients. The incumbent will lead by example, be well versed in domestic and foreign wire settlement functions and be comfortable challenging the status quo.   The duties performed by the Senior Specialist will include but are not limited to: Researching and resolving issues with wires that fall outside our normal processes.  This would include system outages or performance issues and wires stuck in queues or status that may require collaboration with department leaders, the App Support team, and our vendors.

  • Initiate, verify, approve, release, repair, and monitor domestic and international wire transfers in accordance with established procedures and authorization limits.

  • Review wire instructions and supporting documents for completeness, accuracy, proper authorization, and compliance with established procedures.

  • Monitor processing queues and outstanding transactions to ensure wires are completed within established service level expectations and applicable cutoff times.

  • Timely clearing of exceptions that appear on our daily GL reconciliations

  • System and Process Testing : Play a primary role in system and process testing to ensure proposed changes work as expected before implementation.

  • Policy, Procedures, Reporting and Efficiencies: Assist with the development, implementation and rollout of process guidelines and procedures.

  • Encourage new ideas from colleagues and encourage change by proactively making recommendations for improvement.

  • Produce month end reporting for department leadership review.  Develop additional reporting to identify trends, risk, or other metrics as directed by leadership.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of demonstrated Wires experience.

  • Excellent attention to detail with a core belief of quality over quantity

  • Strong communication and relationship building skills. Able to articulate needs and requirements clearly as well as work across multiple teams to drive projects across the finish line

  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Analytical and able to research solutions with ambiguous or limited information

  • Experience in working with vendors and clients, and in a team environment

  • Strong Microsoft skills across the following: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams

  • Ability to participate in testing which sometimes takes place in the evenings and at weekends

Compensation:

The estimated hourly salary range for this role is $20.19-$28.85 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
