Job DetailsJob Location: Benedettini Cabinetry - Rosenberg, TX 77471Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: NoneJob Category: General LaborPOSITION SUMMARY: Rides on truck and assists driver in providing prompt, courteous and delivery of cabinets to customer homes. REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES: The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The actual duties required of this position will vary. Intercepts all phone/radio calls for the driver while the driver is driving. Climbs onto and off of the truck to load and unload cabinets. Lifts and carries cabinets to and from the truck to deliver to customer homes. Pushes/pulls cabinets with or without a dolly to and from the truck. Assists driver in safely backing up the truck by directing the driver from the ground. Assists in cleaning the cab of the truck and inside of the box truck daily. Courteously interacts with customers, dispatchers and supervisors. Assists in cleaning up the area around the delivery of cabinets, when necessary. Follows all safety policies and procedures. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.   TYPICAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The following physical activities or abilities are commonly, but not always, associated with the performance of this position. The actual requirements of this position will vary. Lift, carry and push/pull at least 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday. Climb into and out of truck repeatedly throughout the workday.   EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION: Preferred: Equivalent of high school diploma or G.E.D certification One year of working in extreme weather conditions. Actual machines, tools, equipment and/or software used will vary. Personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, gloves, hardhat, boots, and safety vest. Tools including, but not limited to, dolly, broom and shovel.
