Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused CDL  Delivery Driver with a Hazmat endorsement to operate a 26-foot box truck supporting our Twin Cities and St. Cloud locations. (Could be CDL A, B or C)

This is a local, daytime driving position with no overnight travel. The driver will begin and end each workday at our Roseville distribution center.

Typical Daily Route

The driver will:

  • Start at our Roseville distribution center at 6:00 AM
  • Load and/or verify transfer freight for delivery
  • Drive a 26-foot box truck from Roseville to our St. Cloud branch
  • Deliver and unload branch transfer freight in St. Cloud
  • Return to the Twin Cities and travel to our Plymouth branch
  • Pick up customer delivery orders from Plymouth
  • Complete scheduled customer deliveries throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area
  • Return to the Roseville distribution center at the end of the shift

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a 26-foot commercial box truck
  • Complete branch transfers and customer deliveries accurately and on schedule
  • Properly handle and transport hazardous materials in accordance with DOT requirements
  • Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Verify freight, delivery paperwork, and customer orders 
  • Safely load, secure, and unload products as required
  • Maintain accurate delivery and vehicle records
  • Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures
  • Communicate professionally with branch employees, customers, and the distribution team
  • Maintain a clean and safe company vehicle
  • Assist with loading and unloading freight as needed

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class C minimum
  • Current Hazmat (H) endorsement
  • Valid DOT Medical Certificate
  • Acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Ability to meet all DOT driver qualification requirements
  • Ability to safely operate a 26-foot box truck
  • Dependable attendance and ability to consistently report for a 6:00 AM start
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle products associated with deliveries
  • Forklift and/or pallet jack experience preferred
  • Previous local delivery or commercial driving experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Samsara systems preferred
