And, together, we find a way to turn that potential into reality.     Program and Role Summary: Wayfinder’s Specialty Mental Health Program offers therapy to children, youth, adults and families in the program. Our mental health care in the community is focused on preventative services to build resilient individuals and families.  The primary focus of the Clinical Program Manager is clinical services provided in the outpatient mental health clinic/specialty mental health service program. This involves the administrative and supervision of assigned Therapists, Child and Family Specialists, and support staff in the delivery of a quality clinical program within a community mental health clinic setting  The salary range reasonably expected for this position is $85,000 - $95,000.   Primary Responsibilities: Develop and execute policies and procedures and a system of accountability that tracks the quality of service, program budget, relevant documentation, and adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements. Effectively supervises, evaluates, and directs the work of a diverse group of employees.  Timely completion of performance appraisals, regular supervisory meetings, performance documentation, staff development, and supervision for success best practices.  Manage personnel functions, including recruitment, hiring, retention, and staff discipline.   Conducts outreach and engagement to recruit youth and families to participate in prevention services. Participates in in-service training and on-site workshops as required for professional growth and development.  Attend external training workshops directed by management.  Supervise, orient, and evaluate assigned therapists, Child and Family Specialists, and support staff, including but not limited to, providing employee counseling, coaching and training, and assisting with the recruitment, interviewing and hiring of staff. Responsible for regular scheduled weekly individual and group supervision, and adhering to all standards of supervision outlined by the Board of Behavioral Science in close partnership with other clinical program manager. Participate in weekly supervision and consult weekly with the Associate VP of Clinical Services and programs. Provide assistance to assigned supervisees for program issues and crises that may arise, including urgent issues that may arise after regular work hours. QualificationsEducation and Experience: At a minimum, must hold a Master’s degree in clinical psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Must possess licensure in a mental health discipline, as recognized by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, such as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).  A minimum of three years of post-graduate clinical experience is required. Successful experience related to a supervisory role is preferred.
