As an Electrical/Assembler Technician at Ultimation Industries, you will work on a variety of industrial conveyor systems and material handling products, including assembly, wiring, troubleshooting, and testing. You will assemble and program electrical and mechanical systems, perform light fabrication, and support shipping and inventory operations in a fast-paced shop environment. What You'll Do Electrical and Mechanical Assembly Assemble and wire low-voltage components and larger conveyor and material handling systems. Perform light mechanical assembly including cutting, drilling, and painting for conveyors and related products. Assist with the setup of motorized conveyors, sensors, and electrical systems. Troubleshooting, Testing and Commissioning Assist with troubleshooting and commissioning of conveyors, motors, sensors, and related equipment. Perform basic testing of electrical and mechanical systems to ensure proper function before shipment or installation. Shipping, Inventory and Order Management Pick products from warehouse locations and prepare shipments for ground and freight carriers, ensuring accurate and timely processing. Learn conveyor and material handling product lines and identify and track SKUs to ensure correct picking, packing, and shipping. Perform regular inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure product availability. Record order details and enter them into computer systems following pick and pack schedules from the sales department. Workplace and Field Support Maintain a clean and organized workspace, track and replenish supplies, and follow all safety protocols in the warehouse and on job sites. QualificationsRequired Skills/ Abilities Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a mechanical, electrical, or fabrication environment is highly preferred but not required. Forklift experience is required. Skills and Abilities: Mechanical and electrical aptitude with a willingness to learn. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed work instructions. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand, walk, and work for extended periods. Ability to safely work at heights using ladders or scissor lifts (training provided). Ability to work in outdoor environments for loading and unloading. Additional Qualifications: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Basic computer skills required.
