Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for executing projects within a collaborative, team-based environment. The PM will be the main point of contact for all project stakeholders. This role supports the Company's sales and operations efforts by managing multiple projects simultaneously and coordinating closely with internal teams, customers, general contractors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful execution
- Collaborate effectively with subcontractors, general contractors, customers, and internal project teams throughout all project phases
- Coordinate the procurement, delivery, and installation of kitchen equipment and custom fabrication
- Review and approve Purchase Orders and initiate project billings in accordance with contract terms
- Travel to job sites as required to support project execution and coordination
- Manage projects in accordance with applicable plans, specs, and contract
- Maintain accurate, organized, and complete project documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to collaborate in a highly professional manner
- Ability to problem solve and resolve disputes both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Thorough understanding of commercial kitchen equipment, and KEC scope
- Proficient field measuring and field documentation ability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous construction related project management experience
- Previous commercial kitchen equipment or foodservice construction
- Technical skills to interpret construction methods, contracts, and drawings
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no current supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This position operates in both a professional office environment and active construction job sites as needed. The role routinely uses standard office equipment including computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing systems. Noise levels are typically moderate but may be elevated on construction sites. The employee may be exposed to varying weather conditions when working on job sites.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to make repetitive substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Ability to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Able to remain in a stationary position up to 50 percent of the time
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to hear, read, and speak in order to communicate with employees, customers, vendors, etc.
- Ability to pull accurate field measurements using tape measure
