JOB TITLE: Floor Care Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

Position requires experience in operating all equipment used in commercial cleaning, to include; burnishing and buffing terrazzo floors, automatic scrubbers, carpet cleaning equipment, ride-on or walk behind equipment. Must be able to maintain equipment and conduct minor repairs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS – ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Able to take direction and follow through with assignments
• Must be able to safely operate all equipment associated with cleaning
• Good understanding how to maintain different types of hard surface flooring
• Willingness to train others in the proper use of equipment and ability to maintain equipment
• Promote and exhibit Company culture and values
• Willingness to travel to multiple local accounts
• Able to work a flexible schedule
• Adhere to all applicable safety practices
• Other duties as assigned by management

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• High School Diploma/GED. Will consider experience in lieu of educational requirements
• 1 to 2 years of experience in janitorial services with training in floor care
• Good communication skills and ability to read and write English
• Valid Driver’s License

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking and kneeling
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds on a regular basis
• Operate floor care machinery for long periods of time
