HealthPartners North Suburban Family Physicians has an exciting opportunity for a casual Radiologic Technologist to join our team! 

 

This casual position will be based out of our Roseville clinic with the ability to pick up hours at our Lino Lakes clinic. The shifts available for this role could vary, Monday- Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm with potential partial shifts depending on clinic needs. No weekends.

 

This role is responsible for providing high quality patient care, radiographic exams and related procedures working cooperatively with care teams to ensure the highest and most efficient level of patient care.


Essential duties and accountabilities:

  • Adhere to the Radiology Patient Services Standards.
  • Provide proper radiation protection and quality care to patients, employees, and self.
  • Always implement professional standards using independent judgment as needed when necessary to depart from established techniques.
  • Produce high quality radiographs with minimum errors.
  • Select proper technical factors and operate equipment in a safe and concise manner ensuring established protocol for quality control.
  • Review finished images for appropriate technical factors and orientate and annotate images accurately for reading.
  • Aid with department testing and related forms.
  • Ensure work area is well stocked, organized and esthetically pleasing.
  • Tasks as assigned by supervisor could include:
    • scanning, forms, transferred records, covering front desk.
    • Blood pressure schedule, EKGs, ordering and stocking and other duties as needed.


Required qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Currently registered A.R.R.T. in Minnesota
  • Recent Radiologic Technologist work experience preferred. 

 

Physical requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Must possess speech, hearing and sight skills to perform the functions of the position. Manual dexterity required. Must be able to speak, read and write English proficiently. Some lifting may be required. May need to travel from one clinic to another to perform job functions.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Member M.S.R.T. (Minnesota Society of Radiologic Technologists) or A.S.R.T. (American Society of Radiologic Technologists)
