We are a prestigious law firm with a strong commitment to providing exceptional legal services. Our firm is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated AR Supervisor to join our accounting team. 


JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Supervisor to play a key role in our firm's accounting and finance operations. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoice submissions, and collections. This role supervises AR staff, monitors daily reports, and resolves client issues. 


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare daily reports for both AR staff and business groups
  • Run QC audits on specific clients to ensure accurate billing 
  • Submit client invoices accurately and timely
  • Maintain proper notes within accounting system 
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on past due invoices
  • Respond promptly to customer invoice resolution
  • Communicating root cause issues to clients, business groups and/or management
  • Complete special projects, as assigned
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:


This job does require supervisory responsibilities.


EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • A High School Diploma or GED required. Post High School, Business, Finance or Accounting Degree strongly preferred. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is required.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.   
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This position is fully in-office and is not eligible for remote work. Regular attendance during standard business hours is required. Daily use of banking systems, accounting software, and remote deposit scanning equipment is expected. The office environment is generally quiet to moderate in noise level.
