Role: As Field Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and testing systems related to the audio-visual requirements of a project.

Your primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Handle various aspects of projects to ensure all equipment operates smoothly
Train clients on installed systems
Validate the system drawings to ensure that the designed results are produced
Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will meet the scope of designed functionality
Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify project intent, identify problems, and suggest changes
Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the designed systems
Adhere to all AV-Tech guided training plans and timelines
Comply with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards
Performs other work-related duties as assigned
Assist with end-user training and ongoing system upgrade opportunities.
Fulfill occasional travel requirements as needed

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Bachelor's Degree preferred
3+ years' experience
CTS Required (or attainable within first six months of employment)
Thorough understanding of technical systems and signal flow
Working knowledge of CAD
Proficiency with Crestron, QSys, Biamp, Extron, and similar platforms
General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Drug free
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
Comfortable working in various environments
Ability to travel and work well in team environment
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50lbs, or use provided material moving equipment
Ability to stand, walk, bend, or reach for extended periods
