Role: As Field Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and testing systems related to the audio-visual requirements of a project.

Work Environment

This is a Full-Time, Monday through Friday, on-site, in-office role in our Roswell, GA office.

Your primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Handle various aspects of projects to ensure all equipment operates smoothly
  • Train clients on installed systems
  • Validate the system drawings to ensure that the designed results are produced
  • Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will meet the scope of designed functionality
  • Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify project intent, identify problems, and suggest changes
  • Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the designed systems
  • Adhere to all AV-Tech guided training plans and timelines
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures and adheres to company standards
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned
  • Assist with end-user training and ongoing system upgrade opportunities.
  • Fulfill occasional travel requirements as needed

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3+ years' experience
  • CTS Required (or attainable within first six months of employment)
  • Thorough understanding of technical systems and signal flow
  • Working knowledge of CAD
  • Proficiency with Crestron, QSys, Biamp, Extron, and similar platforms
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Drug free
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Comfortable working in various environments
  • Ability to travel and work well in team environment
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50lbs, or use provided material moving equipment
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, or reach for extended periods
