- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and daily lesson plans for toddlers ages 2-3
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and progress
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant classroom in accordance with state licensing standards
- Collaborate with fellow educators and administration to support program goals
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Prior experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood classroom setting
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for children ages 2-3
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff
- Ability to meet Georgia childcare licensing requirements, including background checks
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
- Patient, energetic, and passionate about early childhood development
