Job Summary

Cyclone Land Development is seeking experienced pipelayers to join our construction team. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience installing and maintaining underground utility systems, including storm drainage, sanitary sewer, and waterline utilities. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Install storm, sewer, and waterline utility systems.
• Read and interpret construction plans, grades, and specifications.
• Assist with trench preparation, pipe alignment, and pipe installation.
• Ensure proper bedding, backfilling, and compaction around utility lines.
• Work safely around excavation equipment and within trenching operations.
• Perform daily inspections of tools and equipment.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements.
• Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

Skills

• Underground utility installation experience.
• Ability to read construction drawings and utility plans.
• Knowledge of storm drainage, sewer, and water distribution systems.
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience using hand and power tools commonly used in utility construction.

Requirements

• Experience with storm, sewer, and waterline utilities.
• Previous pipelaying or underground utility construction experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Must be able to pass E-Verify employment verification requirements.
