Job DetailsJob Location: Building 1 - Rothschild, WI 54474Position Summary:  Wausau Tile is seeking a hardworking, energetic, and safety-conscious individual to join our Site Furnishings team as a Blasting and Seal. This position is responsible for preparing and operating media blasting equipment to finish concrete products. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.    Key Responsibilities:  1. Machine Set-Up  Prepare media blasting booth and related equipment for daily operations.  Perform start-up checks, calibrate equipment, and adjust air pressure as needed.  Ensure all support tools and safety equipment (forklifts, hoses, PPE, air monitoring) are ready for use.  2. Blasting  Operate a media blasting wand using stainless steel shot media to finish concrete products.  Adjust blasting technique (distance, timing, pressure) to achieve desired surface finish.  Wear full PPE including a blast helmet with supplied air.  3. Material Handling  Safely operate a forklift to load and unload products from the blasting area.  Use an air wand to remove blasting media from products and prepare for staging.  4. Machine Maintenance  Perform preventative maintenance including filter changes, hose inspections, equipment cleaning, and calibrations.  Complete daily, monthly, and quarterly maintenance logs accurately and on time.    Physical Requirements:  Prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting.  Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs frequently.  Repetitive motion involving hands, wrists, shoulders, knees, back, and neck.  Must be able to safely climb stairs and ladders.  Must pass a FIT Test for use of required PPE.    Wausau Tile is an Equal Opportunity Employer and an Affirmative Action Plan Employer. We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.  Qualifications
