Job DetailsJob Location: Building 5 - Rothschild, WI 54474Position Type: Full TimeTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: 1st ShiftPosition Summary:  Wausau Tile is currently hiring a RotoForm Trimming Operator to support our plastic component production. This position is responsible for finishing and modifying molded plastic parts, performing setup and adjustments, and ensuring product quality through careful trimming and hardware installation. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.    Key Responsibilities:  Production Setup & Trimming:  Review production schedules to prepare tools and jigs for each job.  Place molded plastic parts into jigs for rough cutting and trimming.  Use hand tools and powered tools to:  Remove mold flash, parting lines, and excess material.  Drill holes and make specific cuts as required per part design.  Install hardware into plastic components based on product needs.  Perform finishing tasks including deburring, scraping, and edge smoothing.  Maintenance & Quality Assurance:  Conduct daily preventative maintenance on trimming tools and equipment.  Clean tools and workstation to promote safety and productivity.  Monitor parts for quality and consistency, identifying and correcting issues.  Maintain production records, including tracking material usage and task completion.  Communication & Teamwork:  Collaborate with production teammates and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency.  Communicate equipment or process issues promptly.  Offer feedback on process improvements or tool performance.    Tools & Equipment Used:  Deburring tools, scrapers, and small cutting instruments  Jam saws, electric and pneumatic trimming tools  Jigs, drills, and hardware installation tools  Forklifts and material handling equipment (as trained/required)    Physical Requirements:  Regular standing, stretching, bending, and squatting throughout the shift  Ability to lift and maneuver items up to 50 lbs  Repetitive motion involving hands, wrists, shoulders, knees, and back  Use of ladders, stairs, and other climbing tools as needed  Tolerance for working in a production environment with dust and temperature variability    Wausau Tile is an Equal Opportunity Employer and an Affirmative Action Plan Employer.
