Job DetailsJob Location: Building 1155 - Rothschild, WI 54474Position Summary The Transportation Office Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily transportation and logistics operations at the 1155 facility. This role serves as the central point of coordination for drivers, shipping documentation, inbound material receiving, and scale operations. The coordinator ensures accurate processing, timely communication, and efficient flow of both inbound and outbound shipments. Key Responsibilities Perform daily opening and closing procedures for the transportation office and facility access points Prepare and organize shipping documentation for scheduled shipments Maintain shipment schedules and ensure alignment with yard operations Coordinate daily driver check-in and check-out processes Provide direction to drivers regarding pickup, loading, and site procedures Support receiving of bulk inbound materials (e.g., aggregate, cement) Create and manage purchase requisitions for inbound materials as needed Ensure proper documentation is completed, filed, and submitted for invoicing Assist with customer pickups and payment documentation when applicable Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in transportation, logistics, shipping/receiving, or related field preferred but not required Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in documentation and data entry Effective communication skills for interacting with drivers, yard personnel, and internal teams Basic computer proficiency (email, data entry, and internal systems) Ability to work independently and manage daily operational responsibilities Work Environment Mainly in an office setting, occasional outside assistance as needed Frequent interaction with drivers, yard crew, members of the Transportation Team and PM/APMs Typical works hours are 6:45am – 3:15pm Monday through Friday Qualifications
