Our tax accounting team seeks a strong team player to join their team. This role is responsible for the preparation and consolidation of various aspects of Dell Technologies’ quarterly global tax provision and will have the opportunity to collaborate with various teams across Tax, Finance and Accounting. Responsibility for preparing and reviewing quarterly tax provision work papers, including tax account reconciliations, journal entries, consolidation work papers and disclosures. You will: Prepare and review quarterly tax provision work papers, including tax account reconciliations, journal entries, consolidation workpapers and disclosures for the Company’s SEC filings and assist in the consolidation and review of the legal entity financials. Apply analytical and problem-solving skills across various aspects of the tax provision. Work closely with various teams in finance and accountings as our external auditors to ensure our tax provision workpapers are delivered timely. Provide guidance and support to our US and international tax teams on income tax reporting matters and lead income tax reporting training for the Company’s various development programs. Use leading technology to automate tax accounting processes. Essential Requirements: You must be able to work onsite in one of our two offices and have 5+ years corporate income tax provision experience preferably at a large publicly traded multinational company or large public accounting firm (This is a tax manager level role.) Knowledge of ASC 740, Accounting for Income Taxes and US federal / state income taxation. Strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Organized and able to prioritize to meet deadlines in a very dynamic fast paced environment. A team-player who focuses on collaboration and building strong relationships throughout the organization. Desirable Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Certified Public Accountant. Experience with Tax Provision Software, SAP, Power Query, or Power BI is highly desirable.
