Job DetailsJob Location: Round Rock, TX 78664Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayTHIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION – MUST BE IN THE AUSTIN AREA Way Mechanical is a leading mechanical contractor located in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, Nashville, Charlotte, and Raleigh. We specialize in commercial air conditioning, plumbing, and mechanical piping, and the maintenance of these systems. Way Mechanical is at the forefront of design-build/design-assist, preconstruction, commissioning, building information modeling (BIM), and quality control. We are currently seeking an experienced Plumbing Detailer to join our Austin office. This role will be responsible for producing accurate, constructable plumbing system models and coordinated shop drawings to support project execution. Responsibilities: Develop coordinated 3D plumbing system models in Revit and Fabrication CADmep in alignment with company and project standards Collaborate with the lead detailer and project team to resolve clashes using Navisworks Manage Generate shop drawings, spool sheets, and installation details for field and prefabrication use Incorporate design intent drawings, specifications, and field input into constructable models Requirements: Working Knowledge of plumbing and mechanical system design, layout, and installation practices Proficiency in Navisworks Manage, Fabrication CADmep, AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, and Revit Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam for documentation and markups Ability to follow directions from senior detailers and project leadership while maintaining attention to detail Construction field installation or prefabrication/shop experience highly preferred Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to continuously learn and refine technical skills Perks of The Trade: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance Profit Sharing Program 401 Retirement Holiday Pay Company Phone Referral Incentives Free Lunch Friday Years of Service Appreciation Program Qualifications
