You will work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care during surgical procedures. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining sterile conditions, implementing surgical protocols, and supporting a seamless workflow. Verify patient identity, surgical site, and informed consent prior to the procedure. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure adherence to aseptic and sterile techniques. Monitor and document the patient’s vital signs and anesthesia status throughout the procedure. Serve as the patient advocate, ensuring their safety and comfort during surgery. - Coordinate with the surgical team to anticipate and respond to the needs during the operation. Manage specimens and cultures according to proper protocols, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation. Handle surgical instruments and supplies efficiently, maintaining an inventory and restocking as necessary. Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless operations. Assist in transferring the patient to the recovery room post-operation, providing a comprehensive report to the recovery team. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of the intraoperative process, including any incidents or variances. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to maintain compliance and quality standards. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to enhance professional skills and knowledge.      QualificationsQualifications Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing   Licenses/Certification: Registered Nurse in the State. Current BLS.  Experience: Minimum two years in an operating room setting in a hospital or ASC.
