Key Responsibilities
Real-time Technical Interpretation: Provide immediate oral interpretation for Korean technical specialists and local workers during on-site activities and field-level meetings.
Safety & Compliance Communication: Accurately deliver essential information, including safety protocols, site-wide announcements, and operational guidelines in both Korean and English.
On-site Meeting Support: Support daily briefings, inspections, and technical discussions to ensure project objectives are clearly understood by all parties.
Information Relay: Translate technical nuances and management intent accurately to prevent misunderstandings on the field.
Document Assistance: Assist in the translation of on-site memos, work instructions, and safety signage as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
Language Fluency: Must possess native-level fluency in both Korean and English (speaking, reading, and writing).
Exceptional Communication: Proven ability to grasp the speaker’s intent and nuances, delivering the message clearly and effectively to the target audience.
Field Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced construction site environment and handle situational challenges with flexibility.
Professional Accountability: Strong sense of responsibility to adhere to project schedules and maintain consistent attendance throughout the project duration.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
