Program Supervisor of Migrant Education

Position Summary:
The Program Supervisor of Migrant Education Program will supervise all daily program activities and non- certified personnel in Migrant Education Program. Maintain a working knowledge of guidelines, regulations, and procedures relevant to the specific programmatic areas of Migrant Education Program. This is a 12-month, grant-funded position.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must hold a valid driver's license in the individual's state of residence

Desired Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in a Migrant Education Program
- Ability to fluently speak multiple languages
- Experience in grant writing and budget management
- Evidence in using data to make informed decisions
- Master's Degree
- PA Instructional Certificate

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Supervise, coordinate and support the day-to-day operations of the Migrant Education Program
- Manage the Migrant Education Program to meet all grant objectives and program goals
- Lead Migrant Education instructors to utilize best practices and core standards
- Assist in the development and submission of program proposals, program revisions, billing claims, final reports and oversee clerical accuracy of all documents
- Assist in data analysis to provide continuous program improvement
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with appropriate stakeholders, funding agents, partners and IU5 staff
- Oversee the accurate and timely collection of appropriate programmatic and fiscal data and submission to appropriate parties in accordance with program and IU guidelines
- Assure that proper grant documentation is maintained and is accessible to key program staff
- Maintain effective communications with and provide regular program updates to the Assistant Director and Director of School Improvement Services Federal and State Programs
- Maintain current and accurate inventory of all program contractual obligations
- Perform other duties as assigned

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office and educational environment. Incumbent must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time. This role routinely uses office equipment with a majority of the time utilizing computers to complete daily tasks. This position requires traveling primarily within the Franklin, Adams and York counties and, on occasion, throughout the state. Candidates are required to have a vehicle and valid driver's license to attend job related duties, meetings, seminars, and trainings.
