Lincoln Tech's soon-to-open Rowlett, TX, campus needs a technically sharp Facilities Manager who takes real ownership of a building and everything in it. If you know your way around HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems — and you're the kind of person who spots a problem before it becomes one — we want to hear from you.
What You'll Own
- Day-to-day operation and maintenance of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
- Safety inspections and full compliance with state, local, fire, and building codes, including OSHA standards
- Vendor and contractor relationships — sourcing, negotiating, and managing service agreements
- Campus procurement and budget management in partnership with the Campus President
- Emergency preparedness and security protocols
- Oversight of any wiring, electrical, plumbing, and equipment installation or repair
What You Bring
- Hands-on technical knowledge of building systems — HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical
- 3 years of facilities or building management experience
- Associate's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with fire safety, OSHA standards, and emergency preparedness
- Comfort operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and similar equipment safely
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and facilities or campus safety software
- Background in criminal justice, fire service, or safety and prevention is a plus
