Responsibilities:Â
Receive and conduct inventory of all Materials entering job siteÂ
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or in Laydown areas.Â
Complete checks and balance of all packing slip, verify the accuracy of information, data has been inventoried, completed and turned into materials clerk prior to COB.Â
Unpack distributed equipment and materials; store in appropriate location until issued.Â
Notify appropriate department when ordered equipment and materials has arrived (If required deliver equipment and or Materials to appropriate department)Â
Maintain inventory control by continuous tracking and conducting a percentage of inventory monthly.Â
Use identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment to mark all goods.Â
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.Â
Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.Â
Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.Â
Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to Materials Manager.Â
Aid and directions to other Toolroom, Warehouse, Materials staff.Â
Required Qualifications:Â Â
Must have 5+ years of experience working in a warehouse.Â
Must have 2+ years of experience working for an industrial construction project in a warehouse or equivalent material handler positionÂ
 Position Requirements:Â
Must have working knowledge of the basic processes and equipment used in new constructionÂ
Must be organizedÂ
Must have the ability to complete an accurate inventory of items received, issued, and transferredÂ
Must have good communication skills, including the ability to read and write effectively.Â
Must be familiar with basic computer operations. IE: Word, Excel, PowerPointÂ
Must be able to follow directions.Â
Must be detailed OrientatedÂ
Must be able to train, advise and mentor direct reportsÂ
Preferred Qualifications:Â
Current Zachry, Zachry ROF’ed employee or other Construction ProjectÂ
Former experience working with Zachry Industrial, Inc. or other Construction Project Â
Previous experience as a Foreman or above with Zachry Industrial, Inc. or other Construction ProjectÂ
Physical RequirementsÂ
Employees will be required to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting.  Â
Will talk and hear to communicate.  Â
Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls and tools.  Â
May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.  Â
Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirements. Â
Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.Â
Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to hard hat, safety glasses/spoggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves and leather steel-toed work boots.  Â
