Duties include managing daily operations, cooking, ordering supplies, assisting with cash collection, and ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met.

Food Service Manager needed for school food service in the Roxbury, NJ area . Monday through Friday, day shift, 7 hours daily. No weekends or holidays. Summers off.

ServSafe® Certification a plus. Must be comfortable working in a fast pace team environment. Able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools

Duties to Include:

Managing the operation on a daily basis.

Cooking - Food preparation, cooking a variety of foods, following recipes, portion control, production standards according to the NSLP guidelines.

Ordering - Placing orders, inventory, assist in marketing promotions.

POS/Register - Assist workers with cash collection, follow recording keeping procedures.

Safety - Endure all personal protection equipment is in use at all times

Cleanliness - maintain a clean and safe kitchen at all times.

Staffing - secure food service workers, and substitutes.
